The XQuest Club Championship has officially come to an end, completing two seasonal league scoring series and culminating with the final showdown of a 10 round, 30 arrow score. The winner and new XQuest Club Champion for 2026 – Sue Langille

This year’s event didn’t just meet expectations, it shattered them. With the largest turnout in recent club history, the range was alive with energy, focus, and just the right amount of competitive tension. From first arrow to final end, it was a showcase of everything that makes this club special. Participants stemming from youth to seasoned veterans with a mix of recreational and competitive members, the community was well represented and produced a fun and enthusiatic atmosphere.

In a competition where the margins were razor-thin, Sue demonstrated not only skill, but consistency and composure when it mattered most. Her steady progression throughout the league challenges set the tone early, and her mindset during the championship itself proved decisive. When the pressure peaked, Sue didn’t just hold—she delivered.

With that performance, she claims the XQuest trophy and earns her place in club history, with her name to be permanently added to the championship plaque.

Hot on her heels were Olivia Jenkins and Howard Sandler, who delivered outstanding performances of their own to secure runner-up positions in a very close conclusion.

What makes this victory even more meaningful is who Sue is within the XQuest community. A recreational shooter by classification, she exemplifies what it truly means to be an archer and XQuest member. Not just through her shooting, but through her spirit. Whether she’s co-hosting club social nights, demonstrating a focused but light and open demeanor, or keeping things running smoothly in the pro shop, Sue brings enthusiasm, generosity, and a genuine love of the sport to everything she does.

This championship wasn’t just about scores; it was about building the XQuest community, personnal growth for participants, a taste of the competetive environment and developing passion for the sport of archery. This year, all aspects were on full display.

Congratulations to all competitors, and especially to our new champion Sue!
