Another season of XQuest Club Social Nights has officially come to an end — and what a way to finish it off.

This past weekend, members gathered for our Humpty Dumpty Social Night, where archers were tasked with the impossible mission of helping put Humpty back together again. As expected, the evening featured a carefully engineered combination of skill shooting, questionable luck, suspiciously complex rule interpretation, and the true test of character: assembling a puzzle under time pressure while everyone around you offered completely unhelpful advice.

Naturally, balloon shooting made an appearance as well — much to Dorean’s delight.

The winning team proved they possessed the perfect balance of patience, composure, teamwork, and just enough chaos management to survive the evening’s challenges. While scores mattered, the real battle was maintaining focus while the clock ticked down and Janice loudly announced the proceedings in full King’s Crier fashion.

Thanks to Janice and Sue, this year’s social programming was a huge success and great fun for all. Between the creative themes, memorable challenges, and consistently fantastic turnout, this season helped make the XQuest community stronger, louder, and considerably more competitive when balloons (or Skittles) are involved.

While the socials may be wrapping up in preparation for the summer’s outdoor season, they’ll return in the fall; and yes… there are already rumours that the legendary Zombie social may rise from the grave once more.

If you missed this season’s socials, don’t make the same mistake next year. Whether you come for the archery, the laughs, or Janice’s costumes, these nights continue to be one of the best ways to meet fellow members and be part of the XQuest community.
